Bartleet leaps ahead of its competitors with top achievements
 
Bartleet Produce Marketing (BPM) has today grown to establish itself in the market through its dynamism, experience and cutting edge initiatives.

BPM backed by its 100 year existence in the plantation industry has achieved a growth rate of 10%-15% since December 2006. BPM's performance has proved to be resilient as evident in holding a market share of 10%.

The Bartleet Group in re-branding itself with a new logo has continued to be dynamic in three main sectors, namely Finance, ICT, Plantation & other.

Bartleet Director Chaanaka Jayasekara speaking to the Daily Financial Times noted that the company has observed significant achievements made in the Employment of Technology and are currently the first in the industry to have prices given from the auction centre to the respective estates.

On pricing broker –wise the company has stepped up its values from December 2006 to date, it was stated. The company aims at growing another 8% of the current status quo to the next half year, Jayasekara pointed out.

It was observed that superior performance was evident in terms of the fact that the company has today moved ahead from Customer Relations Management to partnerships which have "actually benefited the customer as well as the organization."

BPM has the most dynamic team due to the sheer high quality manpower with a very high customer service and reaching out to catering towards the next generation in view which is a first in the industry, the company's Managing Director Eshanth Wijesinghe pointed out.

Sector wise the company enjoys a lead over others in the market in terms of their experience, dynamic and contemporary nature in delivery based on cutting edge technology and initiatives, it was highlighted.

BPM was formed in 2005 to be the 'new strategic face' of the century-old Bartleet & Company Limited, which began operations in the year 1904, had an illustrious history and enjoyed a matchless reputation in the local tea industry.

As agents, its expertise is manifest in the calibre of the auctioneers, valuers and advisors who represent their clients while also fielding a team of knowledgeable auctioneers who obtain the best possible prices for its clients' produce at the weekly public tea auctions conducted by the Colombo Tea Traders Association.

In carrying out promotions the company has been successful in negotiating private sales as well as forward contracts for the client's tea, at attractive prices.
